meet

Rachel Payne is a contemporary artist whose love for art spans back as far as she can remember. As a young artist, she was very much drawn to abstract impressionism. Each painting began with a blank canvas in hopes of layering inner emotions, which still holds true to this day. Pieces are comprised of organic monochromatic colors with unexpected brush strokes, in hopes of engaging an emotional connection to the viewer. While mostly acrylics are used, various mediums are conveyed during her painting process.  

Raised in the south, Rachel resides in Jackson, TN where she lives with her husband, three children, and Golden Retriever.
